Porvoo Tourist GuideThe best way to see Old Porvoo is to take a guided walking tour. You have to hear the city's history, stories about its many interesting residents, and information on its architecture in order to understand the uniqueness that has characterised this area from mediaeval times to the present day. Our expert guides will give you a great introduction to life in Porvoo. 

Porvoo Tourist Guides will organise thematic guided tours in Old Porvoo in summer 2010. The walking tours are meant for individual tourists and small groups, also for local inhabitants.

Porvoo in Flower
In Porvoo the flowering season begins in spring with bulbs and continues until the first frosts in the gardens of the Old Town. The Porvoo in Flower walk takes you to see the leafy parks of the historic centre as well as the latest shrubs and flower beds.

Albert Edelfelt, cosmopolitan of his time
Artist Albert Edelfelt travelled and worked all over Europe and Russia. Nevertheless he returned every summer to Porvoo, where he put his heart and soul into his paintings. The guided tour introduces you to Edelfelt as an artist and as a cosmopolitan.
