Porvoo is an international tourist destination. As many as half of the visitors to the Tourist Office are international travellers, which is why our brochure is published in seven languages.

From the Tourist Office you will get comprehensive information about the tourist services in Porvoo, such as sights, accomodation, restaurants, cafés, museums, attractions, galleries, programme services, biking routes and so on.
We also maintain:

• a list of cabins to rent (rented by private persons)
• a list of premises for conferences and festivities
• an event calendar

Even though we mainly serve in matters concerning Porvoo, you can also get information about other places in Finland through us. In the Tourist Office we also have a computer for tourists where one for example can check one's e-mail. The Porvoo City Tourist Office is easy to find, because it is situated in a big, light yellow stone building just by Old Porvoo (Rihkamakatu 4).

Winter Jan 2–Jun 6 and Aug 30–Dec 31 2010:
Mon–Fri 9am–4.30pm, Sat 10am–2pm

Please note! Tourist Information is closed: 1 January, on Good Friday Apr 2, Easter Monday Apr 5, on May 1, on Ascension Day May 13, on Midsummer Day Jun 26, on All Saints' Day Nov 6, on Independence Day Dec 6 and over Christmas holidays 24-26 December. The tourist information is open on Sundays 10am-2pm from Nov 28-Dec 19 2010.
